Even lawyers won’t have him

The state Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected John J. Balistrieri’s latest bid to regain his law license, saying the son of late Milwaukee crime boss Frank Balistrieri still has not accepted responsibility for his own past crimes.

The court also ordered Balistrieri, who was released from prison in 1989, to pay more than $41,000 for the costs of reinstatement proceedings, which started in 2012.
