Journal Sentinel decries recall elections

Hard to say the JS is a liberal paper:

…what if, as Walker has suggested, the sky doesn’t fall? What if school districts and local governments find that they really can get by with less money and that by asking their workers to pay more for benefits and pensions they can make the books balance? In other words, what if the benefit of time and distance from the heat of the moment gives voters a new perspective?
