Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen will throw out the first pitch at the Beloit Snappers baseball game on July 18.
A UW-Madison Badger Poll released on July 13 found that 59% disapproved of Gov. Scott Walker’s job performance, and 37% approved. The 556-respondent poll, conducted between June 17 and July 10, had a margin of error of 4.2%.
If Walker had thrown out that first ball, protesters would have been there to loudly denounce him and call for a recall vote next year.
