When U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson took a shot or two at fellow Republican Gov. Scott Walker’s campaign tactics this week, it prompted an immediate question:
Was this a case of political payback?
Earlier this year, Walker was caught at a private New Jersey event taking a swipe at a certain Republican U.S. senator, whom he didn’t name, for always grousing about the national debt. It was clear to everyone involved that Walker was calling out Johnson, a Wisconsin Republican, for being Mr. Doom & Gloom.
