State Journal shadows recall volunteers

Recall organizers want to gather at least 720,277 signatures and as many as 1 million to withstand legal challenges. The State Journal shadowed volunteers last week in three settings — rural (Dodgeville), urban (Madison) and suburban (Sun Prairie) — to see what it’s like on the front lines and find out how they plan to close the deal….

One woman who signed said she’s displeased with Walker but was not planning to seek out a petition unless one presented itself. (The woman asked that her name not be used because she said she works in an office with Republicans.)
