Walker critic outpolls Walker appointee in Milwaukee Circuit Court race

After making Gov. Scott Walker the issue in a Milwaukee County Circuit Court race, state Administrative Law Judge Carolina Maria Stark led Walker’s appointee, incumbent Circuit Judge Nelson Phillips III, in Tuesday’s primary.

Stark and Phillips will advance to the April 3 general election, edging out Glendale Municipal Judge Chris Lipscomb on his third try for the circuit bench.
