The Beloit College campus is locked down as Beloit police respond to a situation involving an armed suspect, according to the Beloit College website. The website said police are responding to a situation within a few blocks of the campus.
The initial call was made at 12:26 p.m. Beloit police said a man with a gun threatened someone during a domestic incident earlier and he went to an apartment in the 900 block of Park Avenue, which backs up to the Beloit College campus.
