Gov. Walker’s changing views on same-sex marriage

This is 2014 and times have changed in these past four years. Suddenly, the state’s leaders, up for re-election this fall, aren’t as bombastic when it comes to same-sex marriage. The governor, for instance, was asked if he thought that based on recent federal court rulings, Wisconsin’s marriage ban could survive a legal challenge.

Our “unintimidated” governor wasn’t so sure this time. He said he didn’t know if Wisconsin’s ban could survive the court challenge because he’s not an attorney, after all. And now he’s not so sure that if same-sex marriage is legalized in Wisconsin, it would make much difference anyhow.
