Grant County inmate charged with soliciting wife’s killing

…on July 5 an inmate told a jail staffer that VanNatta had informed him that he paid a person $3,000 to “take care” of his wife — who filed for divorce earlier this year after he was charged with sex crimes involving a minor — so she could not testify in court against him, but that the person “screwed him” and didn’t follow through with it. The inmate said VanNatta then asked him if he knew anyone who could “take care” of his wife, and what it might cost.
