Assistant district attorneys across the state abandon their jobs at triple the rate of other public employees in Wisconsin and stagnant salaries are to blame, according to a study done at the Robert M. La Follette School of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin. That study pegged the annual cost of the turnover at $2 million.
