Milwaukee aldermen question impartiality of firm picked to audit crime data

Suspicions:

Aldermen Bob Donovan, Jim Bohl and Michael Murphy said they have doubts about whether Florida-based PRI Management Group will conduct an impartial review after the Journal Sentinel reported last month that the firm has repeatedly praised Flynn and the department publicly since May.

Ald. Tony Zielinski has also previously expressed concerns about the firm.

The firm was selected by the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission to do the audit of Milwaukee crime data at a projected cost of roughly $25,000.
