MIlwaukee’s Chief Flynn orders training on FBI crime reporting standards

An implicit admission of existing deficiencies:

Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn has ordered dozens of officers and civilians from across the department to undergo two full days of basic training on FBI crime reporting standards.

The mandatory training follows a Journal Sentinel investigation in May that found hundreds of violent assaults were misreported as minor offenses that were not counted in the citys violent crime rate.
