In addition to proposing $300 million in cuts with new flexibilities over the next two years, Walker’s budget strikes language from the state statute that created the UW System — something the governor did not mention during his budget address Tuesday night.
Among his other strikes from the mission: "Basic to every purpose of the system is the search for truth."
