Doug Pettit of Oregon was charged Tuesday with two felony counts of tax fraud. He retired in September after two investigations into the Oregon Police Department were launched by the village and state Department of Justice. The Chippewa Herald reports the village accused Pettit of concealing information about police calls to a venue where he frequently did security work.
