Rep. Brett Hulsey, the Speedo-wearing Madison Democrat, turned some heads with his decision to dip into his campaign account to buy an old convertible.
But now Hulsey is having new problems with his 1987 Volkswagen Cabriolet.
An intrepid reader took a photo of the temporary tags on Hulsey’s car showing that they expired last Thursday. Next to the car the photographer laid a copy of the front page of Friday’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel to show the temporary license was indeed out of date.
